The seventeen year old aspiring Medical Doctor, Adam Wilson, is the Best Graduating student from Chase's Academic Foundation. The footballer that hails from Agricola wants everyone to know that ghetto youths too have dreams and that the ghetto youth too can achieve great things, all they need are opportunities.
Teaching Adam was always easy, he was self-motivated, goal directed and determined to succeed. Since his grandmother died he spent most of his time alone since his parents are away for work. He credits his success to his granny that never gave up on him even when he was expelled from three secondary schools. He remembers her telling me, "This is the last time Adam!" Though she is not here to see him today, he knows she would be very proud because it was indeed the last time.
"Grade One in Chemistry and Physics hard to get."
"Everybody says that it's hard to get Grade Ones in Chemistry and Physics but I wanted it, just because they said I can't, and I got it!"
ADVICE TO STUDENTS
"Trust yourself and the process, remember nothing good comes easy and never stop believing. Even if you are the only one believing."
Today Adam celebrates 8 Grade Ones, 3 Grade Twos. Grade One passes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, HSB, Inte Science, English A, PE, POB. Grade Two passes in SS, Mathematics, EDPM.
He thanks his hard working parents, teachers, particular Sir Jupiter (seen in pic) for challenging his mind and making learning fun. And he especially wants to thank his girlfriend (also a top performing student) for being his constant support and friend.
