𝗚𝘂𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮, 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀

Representatives from Suriname and Guyana will reportedly meet in the upcoming weeks to resolve the Dutch-speaking neighbor's alleged inability to fulfill a pledge to provide 150 coastal fishing licenses to Guyanese fishermen. But the Guyana’s President has previously acknowledged that the main issue is the unauthorized usage of licenses that have already been issued to fishermen in Suriname.
